Aight guys..need some advice from some fellow truckheads. 97 F250 HD with 4wd. Bummer is it is an automatic, and with the diesel the autos rarely last over 100k, I am at 90k miles currently. Should I trade it in on a new one before it frags, or just bite the bullet and get the 3 grand wicked tranny from BTS that is unkillable?? I am seriously leaning towards a new truck..but I kinda like not having to worry about scratches and stuff. Plus a new one will be easier if they send my ass over seas since it will not be fucked with emmissions wise (too late on current truck)
Leaning towards a new F350 reg cab like current setupw ith diesel and the 6speed, or perhaps even a jeep rubicon wrangler since it has factor lockers and dana 44s.
