Nope that battery cut off switch is NOT legal.
NHRA has mandated that all battery cut off switch's now must be a push/pull type setup.
As for the location it needs be out the rear most part of the vehilce according the the rule book.
But I am willing to bet it will pass tech for the time being since NHRA started to warn people about the rule change in 08 and I think it has become mandatory in the 09 rules.....could be wrong on my timeline though but I know I have seen alot of racers out at sunshine getting a talkin to about it. But I know they have just been giving out warnings to racers right now. Kinda like you can race today but dont show back up with it like this next week
BTW other than that battery switch....good looking car.
