I have a tech question involving rocker arm shims and guides for the SR20. The head that they are in has had a valve job done to it and larger cams installed (264 and 276). Now I want to re shim it. I know that some people say there is no need because the oil lifters will make up the difference, but I want this thing right. The issue in question is this: how thin can these shims be thrimed to without breaking under load? If anyone has any ideas or tips let me know. thanks
