Just to add a bit, I was full rich off the scale and my EGT's were 1500 Max's got up to 1900 a few times, but he doens't count, he's crazy when it comes to motors.

EGT's cannot be used to tell if your lean or rich, in fact, if your too rich it can show up and cause high EGT's JUST LIKE if your lean. It's weird like that.
