yes the turbo gets heat soaked but dude would you stick your hand on a sc afer you just drove around town??? hell the oil in a na engine is hot as hell but hey I'll let you work on an engine, that has just driven around town, while its hot. oh and just another little tip you may want to turn off the motor first. and if you look you'll find the research done shows that a timer will also help a naturally aspirated engine prolong the oil life as well, so lets see a na engine can benifit from a timer, and a turbo engine can benifit from a timer, do you think a sc engine is a f*ng godsend and is immune to the same stresses, puff puff give.

in the interest of safety invest a $100 an take an hour or two out of your day to install a timer.

Take care of your engine and it will take care of you.

Treat your engine like ish and you will be on the gandy
bridge at 3am thumbing a ride home

and no I didn't miss the concept of the exhaust gas adding some heat if you read your own post with my quoted words it mentions heat soak ( thats when the heat from the exhaust causes other things near it to get hotter ) but like I said a na motor is hot as ish but hey you go screw up your own ish I'll take it safe and treat mine as well as possible while still getting the most out of it.

and 1500 + degrees how f*ng lean are you running try a little closer to 1000 - 1200.
