And no turbo timer wtf. the vortech install is specific about running oil lines, which means the compressor shaft is using the oil to cool and lubricate (just like on a turbo) and if you think that the oil in the sc is not as hot as that on a turbo (well of a few degrees due to heat soak but its still f***ing HOT) then go smoke the same ish you were on when you decided to buy a vw. 
Dude, if you think that a supercharger needs a turbo timer or that a SC can get hot enough to coke up the oil like a turbo does what the hell are you smoking?
I think you are missing out on the very important fact that a tubo gets extremely hot compared to a SC becuase there are 1500+ degree exhaust gasses that flow through it.
