Actually it is easier to break it on the stock turbo or a red then it is to break it on a 35r. As you goin up in turbo size, you lose torque.
All you have to do is know how to launch the car the right way. If you dump the clutch it is going to break. Both myself and ryu are still on the stock t-cases. Most of the guys that have broken their t-cases is bc of driver error. I have over 60000 miles on mine and well over 250 launches. And at least 50 of those were when my 35r was on the car. Plus there is at least another 50 with 2.3 stroker i have which makes over 500 hp and 470 tq.
so in most cases it is all about the drivers control of the car. No control = broken.
