I can time a KA, I have done it many times. And doing a swap is not so difficult with a kit. Timming a ka and wiring blows. It has a idler sprocket, 3 fucking timing chains and is a PITA to time and is easy to get off a tooth. and ka's ALWAYs have problems. 90% of post are ka issues. just because you guys are very experienced with engines dosent mean that lots of other people dont have the esiest time with timming a ka. Lots of people I talk to do not like timming them experienced and non. I will never take my car to a shop other than tuning. I like trying to solve my own issues so I learn. I honestly have done the ka thing for a WHILE, its been fun but I dont feel that is "my" engine if you know what Im saying. I really want to get info on the cons before "bandwagon" this shit. I liek the 2jzgte because all the internals are forged on the bottom end, not because its a "cool" swap,a nd was built for boost. tell me negatives about it.
