Who told you that lie? You realize that the Z06 Corvette is a showroom stock racecar right? That means it is designed to compete with Vipers and 911 turbos. I hope you realize that there is a huge difference between Autocrossing in a supermarket parking lot with a sub-compact and flinging around turn one at Sebring at 150+mph. Even the Standard Corvette and Corvette convertable are an order of magnitude above most of what are called "sport compacts" handling wise.
