could have shorted out the coil pack with coolant although it's not a very good electrical conductor....

usually if the intake is leaking you get a lean code too, a ford scan tool with the cyl power balance test and fuel trim readings would really tell the tale but if you don't have access to that you'll just have to assume that's it

wouldn't surprise me if the intake was leaking though! don't get a used one, get a new one from ford unless you want the same problem again
