I'm glad that you could also hear what I am hearing....lacking - so I'm not crazy after all I'm going to try all the free-bee suggestions this weekend and see where that gets me. After that, I think I'd try an active crossover before I tried to make a custom passive...seems like that would give me the best odds of fixing this.
