There's alot of discussion lately and quite a few people here on TR that have been in the military..I've had the experiance of being in a unified command(ARMY,MARINES,NAVY and AIR FORCE) Here's a little joke to tell the differance in services...........
You tell the Marines to secure a building, and they blast there way in kill everyone inside and set up a perimeter after..
You tell the ARMY to secure a building, and they shoot there way in killing some capturing a few and set up a perimeter after..
You tell the AIR FORCE to secure a building, and they get a 3 year lease with an option to buy...
P.S. the Navy in the meantime are out on the ocean getting their tans on the decks of their ships..the only guns they have are bolted to the ship...

J/K Mildly humorous. As ex-Navy...I totally agree. Would you believe that in Navy boot camp, I only fired ONE WEAPON!!!??!! Two shots fired down range....It was a .45 that was modified to fire .22 amunition. WTF??? When asked, our Company Commander said it was due to the cost of the bullets. Again....WTF?
Thats part of the reason I'm trying to go Green now.
