That has nothing to do with it, It the torque converter that locks up when in high gear to help with gasmilage providing a 1:1 ratio and keeps the temp down. The fact you have a 3spd over a 4spd meens that you really want and need to get it to work with lockup.
Okay, so the question I am asking then is why? Why is changing the dis going to cause me to lose the lockup function of the TC?
