I've got H&R Teg springs on stock shocks. The drop was SIGNIFICANT... and I loved it. Unfortunately the struts were blown from the previous owner, and I didn't even know until we took everything apart. Oddly enough, it still rode pretty well. I've had it that way for almost a year now... Now it's time to change it out. I ordered KYB gas shocks last week, and they're delivering tomorrow, I have Skunk2 springs being picked up tomorrow, and everything will be in on Sunday. From what I hear the Skunk2's are a lot stiffer than the H&R's. Just depends on what kind of ride you're looking for.
