well for me it's a much different story then most of you guys in the Tampa area. I ride 95%+ of the time, and everyday unless hardcore rain (my car is less in control in the rain then the bike though lol)

I find the 2nd gen R6 to be very comfortable though for the amount I ride, I think I bought the bike at the end of January and it had 850 miles on it, now it has just over 4300 miles.

I have sometimes a 45 minute commute to school, cause I take back routes to avoid driving on US41 and I75 (our major roads down here) .. but the route I get to go has a decent amount of very nice higher speed corners so sometimes it's fun when no traffic is around. I have about a 20 minute commute to work and I don't think I've ever drove my car to work, maybe once.

I've done about 50-60 miles of boring commuting before needing a break, as in long straight roads (I75).

So far I'm loving the R6 though, very good performance, reliability, and comfortable for the money IMO. However, I'm a shorter/lighter guy so that might have something to do with it
