It doesnt matter if you are running a set of 2000 watt midrange speakers - a 6" cone cannot accurately reproduce 60hz sound at the same time its producing 1khz sound.
You need dedicated sub response and dedicated mid range and dedicated high freq all with properly tuned crossovers in order to have a good sounding system.
As far as cheap goes, that's relative. I wire amps for $40, I think MCOR and most of the other regulars in here will do the work for a similar price.
I have all the wiring already I just dont care to be taking up the carpeting and the head unit out to make a professional install. I think firedog wanted alot of money well they are out of business now.
