There is a big difference between a very cool looking car and a beautiful car. A beautiful car is art. It's timeless, sensuous, it doesn't just evoke Oooos and Ahhhhs, instead it makes you heart race when you see it in person, you want to know more about it, you want to actually touch it. A beautiful car's form always follow's it's function. Its not built to look good, its just built to do what it does, and by it's sheer design it ends up beautiful.

There are plenty of very cool cars, but the list of truly beautiful rolling works of art is much smaller.

For example...this is a Beautiful Car:

and this is a Cool Car:

Sure beauty is subjective, and both cars are good looking cars, but in my opinion a car like that Alfa above, or a classic Ferrari, or a vintage Jaguar is just something to behold. They are masterpieces.

A few more masterpieces:
'58 Jaguar XK D-Type

1960's Porsche 911 (way ahead of it's time)

The most beautiful Japanese car ever built, the '67-'70 Toyota 2000 GT

1960's Shelby Daytona Coupe

Orginal Ford GT40

1968 Triumph TR250

1965? Dino (Ferrari Dino)

1953 Corvette C1

1952 Chrysler 200C "Special"

1968 Corvette

1954 Mercedes Benz 300SL (Gullwing)

Look at some of the years of those cars, they are timeless! Each one a work of art.
