Hey Cavy... $1000 sounds a little high for Uninstalled... you can call Summit Racing get a ZEX kit which comes with jets for 5565 & 75 HP Shots is a wet system no button to push either... just flip the activator switch and put your foot to the floor... it activates the NOS when your foot is on the floor... it also tells the fuel pressure regulator how much pressure extra fuel to deliver giving a constant perfect ratio of NOS / Fuel... there is a little Info on it at ZEX.com... I have been thinking about one for my car... They are like $525. and you can find a fuel pump for like $100-$200 at a performance shop or something like that... and as far as installing it most local shops will do it.. talk to John at Spec-R... he should be able to hook you up....
Now onto Joe... why did you even start making cracks? I wouldnt have started anything if you would have just been pleasent... this site is to discuss stories talk about racing and help each other out... not act like a 10 year old and say My Car is better than yours b/c it has a turbo!.. I will give eclipses props... they look BEAUTIFUL.... but.... your car may have turbo but it costs another $7k more than my car does brand new... RiceRocket and I were talking about this a long time ago about my friend who had a black 99 GS and put a turbo on it... With all the money that he spent on the car AND modifying it I could take my Si have a turbo w/ a built motor rims a body kit probably stereo and possibly still have a little bit of gas money... it all depends on how you look at it... A. Eclipses look tight and come FACTORY with turbo but cost about $7k more.. B. Civics look tight also dont COME with turbo but can handle one but they cost alot Less... All I have to say is TO EACH THEIR OWN... You like your car I like my car.. you dont rip on my car I wont rip on your car...
