close, thats the new body styles. the 2000 body style...here ya go:
open the passanger side door, remove the dash side cover, theres a gold screw or two that go into the plastic part of the dash by the passanger knees. Then go to the center consol pocket, under the radio, and you can reach to the back of that pocket and pull the small piece of plastic out that is the top/back of that pocket. There will be a screw on each side behind there...naturally remove the passanger side one. Youll then be able to drop that passanger side part of the lower dash. watch though because those clips tend to pull out of the plastic when your pulling.
Remove the 2 black screws in the glovebox next to the lock, then remove the 2 covers (one on each side of the glovebox) and the two screws behind those covers.
Next remove the 3 or 4 gold screws in the metal strap that is behind the plastic knee plate you removed. Then you'll be able to pop the glovebox out (be careful not to break the glove box light switch on the driver side of the glove box while removing and reinstalling the glove box). Next youll be able to remove the metal plate with a screw on each side of it. theres a vertical door behind there that you unclip. Theres two white/clear plastic pieces that hold the filters.
It sounds difficult, but if you follow this and once you get in there...its only about a 10 min. job. Good luck!
