my question is: have you seen this on a time slip?.. cause i never have and this has killed me for a while.
i'm not even sure if i understand what you mean...how far did you move while spinning?
i'm going to say you mean like 5ft then dead hook......now at the five foot mark you are doing, say 3mph. then you have 1315ft to gain speed.
now if you hook (say 1.5 60ft instead or a 2.0) now your doing 5mph at the 5ft mark. with 1315ft to gain speed.
so you cover the same distance but start at a lower mph if you spin. i think you should end up with a lower mph at the end.
theres also another thing to think about. its not how fast your going at the end of the 1\4. it how fast you start and stop the timers at the end.
not really sure how that would come into play but maybe if your really out of gear at the end. a shorter 1\4 mile may not be a bad thing.
there always the TQ peak thing anything after your TQ peak you should be laying down a bit. i've seen this on my G-tech.
but you pull past it so the next shift doesn't fall under it.
