Well lets see who puts on these braces your talking about.... No one, so that pretty much means they are useless. If you want a more rigid car put a cage in it, If not then you dont need to worry about it.

Mustangs and f bodys use them thanks to there solid axles which twist the car under load. 240's IRS dosnt have the same problem. Anyone with coil-overs might notice the fact that the car will come off the ground almost instantly if taking an incline at an angle. If the car has so much flex that would be a problem.

If you want to reinforce anything do fender braces, thats the biggest weak spot of the car.
