Ok, here it is.
'92-'95 Civic HB shell. Repaint the entire thing yellow (that JDM yellow
). Then rip the interior out, replace the front seats with some aftermarket ones. I ride by myself most of the time, so I won't need the rear seats. Outside I'd add c/f hood, c/f front lip and c/f rear spoiler (all replicas of Spoon). For rims I'd put 15 inch Rota SS in flat black. Tuck that bitch on it's nuts, and we're ready to go. I was thinking about power source for a long time and and finally decided to put JDM H22A. I've had a '95 Prelude before (RIP) with USDM H22A and that thing was great. Torquey and powerful. More than enough for that light ass hatch.
Bad side. If I swap H22A, I won't be able to have either a/c or power steering.
Good side. Low twelves with a stock engine on street tires. Works for me.
I'm going to update this as often as I can, so stay tuned.
P.S. What do you think about this project? Opinions are welcomed.
I'm SOOO excited
um. who told you you cant have a/c and power steering ? you can do both if you want. i had pwr steering for a little while but found it useless and removed it. a/c fits right in there also. not that I have it in mine.
let me know if you want to see an extremely clean H22 swap. I did it myself , and I take pride in my work. most ppl dont even know its an H22 in there.
