LOL! The laws regarding windshields saw that a windshield has to do three things..............as long as it does those three things, it's legal.......and reality is, you are more likely to get busted for speed than for a windshield........

The last windshield I made from plastic was for a drag car, and to get the
plastic perfectly flush with the body I made aluminum brackets to hold it in position. I used aluminum rivets to save weight, but if you plan to replace it.....which you will when it grunges over.......screws are faster.....
