This is a case of installing a mod with out the supporting mods that are required in order to see the most. I'm willing to bet LT's and mid pipe really wake this motor up. Have to keep in mind these early 4v motors dont have a lot of low end torque.

well the post before yours had the answer for you hurst.
sorry i have long tubes X pipe into a mac catback... i forgot to mention that.
although i dont think it would be in need of more fuel i kept the stock fuel injectors with an aeromotive fpr.
would upping the compression with some pistons/rods combo w/a bit of nitrous do the trick maybe? at least if the leakdown comes back okay ..
anyways.....
I am in no way blaming the shop that installed the cams!!!
i am just not happy with the result of installing these. i was hoping that i was going to gain some power up top with these and all i eneded up with was lost power all around. brian did tune it up as well as he could without a dyno but i dont know im just unhappy.... i was told about the head/intake swap was necessary, but now im hearing different. im just discouraged and in need of guidance.
