I think it would depend on how much your lookin to spend on a build. If you do it right you could easily make 250+ on a single cam.. but of course a B series is gonna put out more power overall. This being said, parts for a B series are generally more expensive than parts for a D16. Also Vtec or non Vtec will play a role, and tuning will be the overall detremental factor in how your motor performs. Just my .02
