With 1200 miles on it, he should've been driving to get the stuff for his 2nd oil change. It was broke in enough for a run, though. After 500 miles, everything is seated and ready to roll... one of the reasons the first oil change should be at 500 miles. (To get rid of any excess metal floating around.)
