my only complaint was judging, i even shows like HIN, NOPI, and SBN (ive shown at all) the judges want to talk to the owner about the car to hear about things they cant easily see, at this show the judges blew off the contestants. i found that VERY odd...
as for classes, i does clearly state how classes are handled, and most shows with blanket classes end up changing them based on who shows up day of. that being said, next year, if you guys want to make sure you get your class, call fellow owners and then email the IFO staff. i organized everything with IFO for Scikotics that is why scions had 6 awards:
Best tC
2nd tC
Best xB
2nd xB
Best Scion Other (wtf?) but my gf won it lol
Best Scion Overall
and the club ended up taking all 6 plus 3 more awards:
Best Club Participation - 30 cars at the show.
Best Display (Gator xB, also the one who took best xB)
Best Under Construction - the S/C xB pickup in blue primer.
so dont blame the IFO staff for the classes, you could put some effort into putting you car in the spot light...
for what its worth, ill prolly go to a few more IFO's this year, i couldnt bring my car to this one, i rode with my GF, who took an award, so i want to go to one with my car to see what happens lol.
thanks for the show guys hope TR doesnt change your mind about next year!
