I don't see what the big deal is. Unless you're a professional photographer or the car has something obviously personalized on it then so what if they used your pic? Hell, my car has my name and the only scraped #34 decal on the planet on it and I don't give a shit if somebody wants to use a pic or even say it's theirs.
