Question Turbo Car Burning Oil

Alright here is what is going on...

Have a fairly new - (8000mile) built engine, turbo charged with a Garrett T3/T04E Turbocharger.

Since the engine and turbo were new I have been using 10w30 dino oil. The car would occasionally burn oil out of the blue when idling, maybe once a couple of days.

As you may know, turbo VTEC cars use oil. So when my car has been low on oil the past couple of weeks I have been adding Mobil 1 10w-30 to get it prepared for the switch to Synthetic and kind of wean the engine off of dino oil gradually. I have put about a quart and a half total by now.

Well now the damn thing will burn oil when cold in the morning. Once it gets to temp, it stops. When I get on it - it does not burn oil. When I am at a stop light it will burn oil every once in a while, not all the time - and it is quite a bit of smoke. Car runs fine and nothing seems to be wrong and it only burns oil at idle. Could my turbo seals be going bad? Any suggestions?

I am going to drain the oil and put in full Mobil 1 10w-30 and see what happens.

Thanks for your help....
