^ sounds good to me
I am under the addage "do it once and do it right" when it comes to clutches. One reccommendation is to look at what the EVO guys are doing and go a similar route, since changing one on an EVO is like a billion dollars in labor.
I strongly prefer the Exedys, as Exedy/Daikan make a huge number of OEM clutches and last for tens of thousands of miles without issues even from the most uncaring drivers.
If it were my own car, I'd probably opt for an Exedy Hyper Single. Yes, it's a lot of money, but it gives you the power holding capability and relatively easy engagement and is tough enough to handle just about anything you can through it from a durability standpoint.
If that's not within your budget and Exedy doesn't make a conventional disc, my second choice would probably be the ACT sprung 6-puck with HD pressure plate. If you go with a sprung center, the 6 puck drives very similar to a full face piece in terms of engagement.
