Rotary Toyota, I'm with you.
The showing was poor, the track apparently not that sticky, the electronic board on one lane didn't work, so you had to listen for the times announced on the speaker, which often was drowned out by engines revving.
Line for concession was about a half-hour all day despite a small crowd at the track. No organization or coordination of events like car show, a bikini and dance contest sort of made up as they went along. Other than that, first class.
The promoters just didn't have their heart in this one. Hope it gets better.
Marc P and his K car, the white crx running 12 flat NA B motor, the CFT hatch, and nchatch tryin' so hard to work it out were highlights. The drag biker running 6.7s was cool and way too scary.
A guy with a Nissan 200 running 20 seconds at 62mph, over and over again, provided some comic relief, at least the first four or five times he did it.
I heard he headed home to Orlando in the car and is scheduled to get there sometime tomorrow night.
