well got a call from my uncle about the ka that he is rebuilding for me.
it was opened up before and had a intake mani leak,it was over reved the bearings were scared bad, 2 of the timing guides were not even there anymore the chain ate at it that bad. he said it looked like a die grinder was in there cuz the bolts were even chewed up bad,there was an ass load of timing guide plastic all in the bottom end,and #2 rod looks bad, and the bearings had discoloring on the like they were heated up bad. ohh i had 2 valves hitting the pistons. other than all that shit it looks like it is going to be ok. i need a new oil pump, chain set,maybe a new rod...ect... it is in the machine shop now should be out later this week.
and holy hell i went to the nissan dealer ship for a timing chain set they sell everything separate and just the timing BS came out to $620 wow. so i called S&R they goping to call me back on what they can get.other than them where do you guys get ur sets??it's for a 96 ka
