you really have to go at least 305(12.5") wide anything less will start towards a stretch, my stock tires are 32x10.5R17 or 265/70R17 on a 7.5 inch wheel.

so you can get a better idea about sizing, this is a 20x9 dodge wheel with a 305/55R20 terra grappler




you could pick up some Dune Grapplers in 305/55R20 (33x12.5R20), they're a pretty bad ass looking A/T tire and with all the street driving i do i'll probably pick up a set myself before long.
