R30A transmission is a good 100 lbs heavier at least than the W71C tranny not to mention it hits all sorts of things in the transmission tunnel and requires a crazy custom driveshaft.
The time you put into it, to make everything work, will be insane. I don't suggest you do it and claim its bang for the buck.
you're out 1000 bucks on the SR and you still need to get intercooler, exhaust, custom downpipes instead of a 150 dollar downpipe solution, and other things that's going to make it a major pain in the ass. not to mention you have to do electric fans and custom mounted on the other side, makes your a/c condensor have to be relocated to make it work. Did i mention your front swaybar is going to hit the oil pan if you are not careful??
It's not as easy as you think. Trust me. I'm putting an SR into an HS30 right now. yeah baby, what the fuck is up.
