Black not only will show dents and dings but swirl marks from buffing or waxing shows really easily on this color not to mention any waves in the body work which can be so subtle that you will not notice with another color. But with all that said...clean, well taken care of black is alway a good looking color.

Not to mention you don't have to worry about blending the color or color match if you wreck your car.....as long as its a true black you can panel paint it back to beautiful.

Reds fade and are the most expensive paints due to the shit that they put in it to make it red.

silvers are nice but are harder to paint. Tiger stripes can easily be put in by improper spray techniques. color match when wrecked can be an issue and blending is almost always needed...

blues are nice but are closer to black as they show alot (as most dark colors)

And there is a saying in the body world....

"if it aint right...paint it white" meaning that you can get away with alot with white. waves, dents, dings, runs, these things are alot harder to see in a white paint job although you shouldn't leave these things in any paint job white hides alot.

hope that was informative....
