At 83mm it has already been resleeved. CP pistons makes an 83mm off the shelf piston I believe but I'd just take it out to 84 or 84.5mm. LS cranks are not too expensive and you can use the oil pan and pickup off of your b16a motor along with the rear seal plate. Sounds like a nice block but why is the seller selling? Sleeved blocks have their own set of unique problems and make sure you aren't buying someones elses headache.
yes, the block is already sleeved... i'm not sure why the guy is selling, but it's a pretty high price for just a bare block. don't think i'm going to go with that one... now in the market for an ls shortblock... then send it off to golden eagle or import builders to have it sleeved, been sitting here doing the math, and i can have a complete block, oil pan and all, sleeved for what this guy is asking for his bare block... anyone dealt with import builders before? their price for sleeving is the cheapest ive found... thanks
