Even if there were short comings, again I did not see it, he had people marking spaces and directing traffic and helping with signups and everything else. Nothing goes perfect unless you are very lucky as a planner. Instead of thanking him for even putting on a show during this type of economy and finding a venue willing to take a huge risk and put their profitability on the line (oh, and doing something awesome for the kids during Christmas!!!!), you guys want to rag on him for something YOU thought was out of place for YOUR total enjoyment of your day???

Get over yourselves!!! It was a $5.00 show after donation of even the simplest of toys. You want a leg to stand on?? Go put on a show and put yourself on the line and have some things go not as perfectly planned. Deal with the fallout yourselves and see what it is like to try to do something for the cars and culture you love and friends (as well trying to be a part of something bigger than you in a time of real need) and then come back here and complain.

What a bunch of thankless turds. Its ridiculous complaints like this that make people not want to try to do anything around here anymore.

Truly amazing. I dont know these guys and I am not friends of the planners but I tend to speak my mind when bullshit flies by me and these comments are definitely bullshit.

This show has my support and not because I won a trophy. I believe in what they were doing and what they were trying to accomplish. Even if TFT was not involved, I still like the idea of people getting out there and making something happen.

So it was not perfect, so what? Next time, it will probably be better and that would have been a fact whether you guys opened your mouths or not. All you did is make yourselves look petty, snide and pretty much like self-centered assholes. I mean I am not one to label people but switch your roles with the planner's and tell us how you would feel reading this thread the way it is today.
