if you can find the original SCC article, youll see the response curves of the boost controller, and youll see how the MBC had the slowest boost response, and spiked the worst. and some of the EBC's couldnt control the initail spiking. the profec B, the Blitz SBC-iD and the AVC-R were the 3 best boost controllers i saw during that test. and after reading that, it made me want the SBC-iD, mainly because it was more comprehensive and could make a cool setup when paired w/ the PowerMeter. the AVC-R was supposed to be in the same price range, but i was afraid of the complexity and the "learning" process. and then, the good ol' fall back: Profec B... simple to tune, easy to use, fast boost response, works with well w/ either internal or external gates. easy to install too... its just all around, best bang for the buck.
Btw the MBC still permitted creep.
