If you want to "de stroke" a sbc, just use the 4.3L L99 crankshaft, at least then you can use off the standard pistons by switching to the L99's 5.94" rods.
If you really want to find out the hard way that it wont fit in the block, there are plenty of northstars at the bay area LKQ's.
thanks for your input, sometimes people really shouldnt offer there opinion when they dont have all the information. I dont plan on using the crank in any block...
