first off, vtec isnt just about fuel economy. its about providing the motor with a cam profile suited for high range and low range... providing more power down low without sacrificing top end. stick a set of 272's in a ls motor and its going to be gutless down low.

second off aaron, it might be refurred to this or that now but a flat four has been around forever... and its still a v4 in theory
