The people at the DMV that said it was fine and put plates on it, along with passing the compliance test. There are TONS of jdm cars in Florida, mostly on the East coast. It's legal on a state level, I have a friend with a 95 JDM Supra that's been insured and plated for a while. Thanks for looking.
