my mirage with a stock (slightly higher compression) 4g63 with 14b, stock 1.6L dohc fuel pump, stock 450cc injectors, stock 2.0 Liter ECU got around 42 mpg on the way to florida.

this was years ago before i started modifying it...but the car was excellent with gas mileage.
