something doesn't sound right. A speed sign as far as i know is not a traffic control device per say. A traffic control device is something that manages the traffic, like a stop sign or a red light, ETC....
i dunno man id look into it or call a traffic lawyer to be certain. Most traffic lawyers will give a free or cheap 1st consultation. You may want to look into that.
Yes the sign is a TCD. I got a warning and was threatened with this ticket on the Bayside bridge. I ran up on a undercover at a $1.50, seen him at the last second and slowed to his speed by about 3 cars back. He seen ho fast i was going, but had no way to prove it really so he just gave me a warning as i guess the tickets would have been kinda pointless.
