Default Vtec Killer Kit! Vtec head, running no Vtec!!?!?!

Vtec, for those who pray to this as your god, make sure you know, all vtec does is switch from a gas friendly cam to a performance cam, hence, "Vtec pop's", means the Performance cam, moved into place, making the car run like if it had a aftermarket cam.

A very usefull feature for a DD. But take any car and cam it, then tune and you got better then vtec.

But theres not denying, Honda has some of the best 4 bangers around, K-series and the F-series from the S2000, NA 4cyl, over 200hp, not bad in my book.

Now Onto the point of this topic.

Has anyone heard about this set up, Its bascaly a pretty exenspive kit, that does the following:

(Please correct me if im wrong, some of this info is going based off my own knowledge)

1. Go with the best honda set up, maybe a B20 block, sleeved and bored.
2. The best Vtec head that fits on the B20 block
3. Buy this "vtec killer kit"
4. Kit comes with a vtec disable set up, and a new cam set, I think

The whole point of this kit is to use the bigger better breathing vtec head, but run a pair of perfomance cams that does not switch into vtec.

So if im correct what you would be doing pretty much is! running a built LS with a bad ass cam, but useing the better flowing and better breathing Vtec head, but no switching cam, you are basicaly running a performance cam through out all the RPMS instead of just engaging it at 6k, or vice versa..

Am i correct? Im not to sure.
