That is very good advice. Make sure to re set the part that locks the nut on there (you can see the notched area on the nut circled in red) I learned it the hard way. I was driving my car and noticed that my shifter would move when I would take my foot off of the gas pedal. When I got home (about 25 miles later) I noticed a funny smell. I walked around the back of my car and noticed all $40 worth of my 500mile-old Royal Purple Synchromax sitting under my car.

The nut backed off and cracked that end cover (which can be a difficult part to find) and it chewed up my 5th gear synchro.
