That's the thing, I wasn't in the wrong at all. My and my buddies were leaving a car meet right after a bunch of retards got back from street racing. The cop saw me leaving, and since I drive the world famous cowl hooded Civic with a massive exhaust, I'm sure he thought I had been racing. When I noticed him (he was probably 7 cars back) I immediately let off the gas, and by the time he got on my ass I was doing about 44 (via my speedo and my GPS). He pulled me over and asked if I had been driving southbound on such and such road, and I told him no. he asked me 3 more times if I had been driving on that road, I looked him square in the eyes and told him I hadn't. He then asked me if I knew why he pulled me over, I said no, he said he paced me doing 60 in a 45, and he asked me why i was going that fast. I told him i wasn't going that fast (politely), and he came back with this ticket.

He wrote it as a violation of a speed limit sign, which means he needs to prove I was speeding, and the law says he has to prove "beyond a reasonable doubt" that I was going a certain speed, not that i was speeding (which is unconstitutionaly vauge), but that I was going a certain speed. His radar was off, and DB PD doesn't use laser. So he has to prove I was going 60, and he has to prove that the equipment he did it with (his speedometer) has been calibrated correctly.
