it does not matter if the cop paced him or not. With this ticket his speed is irrelevant because this is not a speeding ticket. He gave him a ticket for not observing a traffic control device. He would have to prove that he did not disreguard a traffic control device (stop sign, red light, went past white line at signal, yeild sign ETC.).


PS: I just got off the phone with a good friend of mine who happens to be a hills county sheriff and he advised me that if you fight this ticket the cop does not have to appear in court, if an officer is needed they can send someone on his behalf.


my advice... be a man you were in the wrong just pay the ticket and move on.
