the only reason it helps you "stop faster" is because most idiots lock up there brakes and just let the car skid to a stop in which case a car with abs will stop faster.. Now if you have half a brain and dont jsut mash the brakes to the floor and hold it there, then I can for sure see how there equal in stopping distance
