The others were broke in properly and I never had a problem. IMO I would keep it under 4k rpm and not make any long trips the first 1000k miles or at least 500. But obviously you have to drive it home.......I would just let the car sit a couple times during the trip and let the seals and everything cool down, then go again for a while and stop and let her cool down.


Of course this is just my experience and my opinion. Good luck with the new STi.
Yea I got 300 on it b4 the trip back, then let it cool every gas stop Hopefully all is well, feels great so far
