only the red car has it open. the ebp em1 has a filter right on it.

Uh, thats what happens when you cant afford to buy a decent intake. There is no other reason why people do that. As for the Red civic, I just finished the paint and tuck to it and the kid did not have an intake for the new swap so he is just running it w/o one. I did not want to see am autozone one on there after he payed so much for all the work. So as soon as he finds a nice one, he will put it on.
